The GT program
at our school is very useful to above grade level students. We are always
having fun outside of class time with experienced teachers. Some groups
are for reading, computers, drama, and other classes. GT students still
have plenty of time to socialize with their classmates at recess and
during class time. Being in GT is definitely one of the top things about
Cotton Creek Elementary. The students in G.T. get to participate in some very cool and interesting activities. You get to work out math problems, read about interesting people and places. Yet, you also get to know that you think in a different way than other people do. Being in G.T is a privilege to all students in it, and everyone should be incredibly proud of themselves when doing G.T. activities. By: Sarah What we do in GT is very fun. We get to do extra reading projects, math, acting, and art and craft projects. When we are in GT we get to think differently. That is why GT is so much fun. By: Tyler The GT program is a lot of fun and a great learning experience. It lets the beyond and above kids challenge their brains. Besides being a great learning experience and fun, we have a great GT coordinator. I can't wait to see what our next book is! By: Shelby Cotton Creek Elementary school has a very good and well organized GT program. We meet and discuss things. It could be about books, projects, or just about anything. In GT, even though you get extra homework it is always fun homework like reading The Giver or designing a posterboard on Anne Frank. Also you go to special math groups. There you learn new strategies and thinking skills. To be in GT is really a great pleasure and a privilege. By: Christina |
