Cotton Creek Elementary School

2007-08 School Year Information


REGISTRATION INFORMATION


Students new to Cotton Creek and kindergarten children must register in person at the school office. All kindergarten children are required to have the following information with them at the time of registration:


1. Birth certificate or other verification of age – child must be 5 years of age on or before September 15, 2007.

2. Verification of up-to-date immunizations – 5 DPT, 4 Polio, 3 Hepatitis B,
2 MMR, 2 Varicella (at least 28 days apart) OR history of disease documented on
immunization record from doctor’s office or lab confirmation.
3. proof of residency – public service/phone bill, lease agreement, real estate contract


All other new students in grades 1-5 must have verification of grade placement, birth certificate, proof of residency, proof of immunization, and complete mailing address of previous school.


SCHEDULE AND ATTENDANCE AREA


Mon-Tue-Thur-Fri Schedule
7:40 a.m. –buses arrive
7:45 a.m. -school begins
10:45 a.m. –AM Kindergarten dismissal
10:50-12:30 -lunch time for grades 1-5
11:30 a.m. -PM Kindergarten begins
2:30 p.m. –dismissal for grade K-5

Wed Early Release Schedule
7:40 a.m. –buses arrive
7:45 a.m. –school begins
10:00 a.m. –AM Kindergarten dismissal
10:50-12:30 -lunch time for grades 1-5
11:00 a.m. -PM Kindergarten begins
1:15 p.m. –dismissal for grades K-5



The scheduled attendance areas for the morning and afternoon kindergarten are:

AM – Cotton Creek, Apple Valley, Ranch, Westbury Apts, Camden Pinnacle Apts, Westfield Village, Hamptons, Ivywood, Stone Creek, The Estates, Bradburn Village
PM – Cotton Creek, Wandering View, Ironwood, Wendemere, Stratford Lakes, Stratford Vista, Legacy Ridge, Autumn Chase, Ranch Reserves

Note: To keep class sizes balanced, Cotton Creek walk-in students will be placed in both morning and afternoon classes.



LUNCHES


School lunches are provided each full school day with choices of entrees, side dishes, fruit and vegetable bar, and milk. Students bringing sack lunches from home may purchase milk. Our lunch payment system is computerized, therefore, students are not given a ticket. Lunches may be purchased in daily, weekly or monthly increments. Lunches are $1.90 daily for elementary students (price is subject to change).


BUS TRANSPORTATION


Bus schedules are located in the office.
